Little Ochie for Richmond Rebel Salute!

Little Ochie, world-famous seafood restaurant from Alligator Pond in Manchester will be making the trek to Rebel Salute 2013, at a new venue and for a longer staging.
"We will be one of the biggest food options at Rebel Salute," said Evrol Christian, more popularly known as 'Blackie', operator of the restaurant. A mainstay at the event since its inception, Christian said, they are increasing efforts to coincide with what is anticipated to be a bigger event at the Richmond Park Estate in St Ann, and a longer event which will span two days - today and tomorrow.
"We're trying to give people from this side, who have never had the opportunity to visit Little Ochie, the flavour of Little Ochie," said Christian. As usual, the seafood restaurant is making plans to ensure sufficient food is available for its customers. In the past, the restaurant has been in proximity to the venue, but this year that has changed, so Christian is stocking up to take enough seafood in anticipation of more than 30,000 people.
"We're going down with as much seafood as possible," he said. The seafood restaurant will be offering its delicious seafood fare, to cater to seafood lovers and vegetarians alike. Known for one of the most diverse seafood menus, Christian said they'll have some of the favourites on sale. These will include jerk fish, foil-roasted fish, steamed fish cooked with natural seasoning only, or steamed fish, to include commercial seasoning.
"We'll also be showcasing our jerk breadfruit," said Christian, which is breadfruit slices marinated in natural seasoning and cooked on an open grill.
He also noted a collaboration with Grace Foods to promote its Coconut Rundown Sauce, so they will be serving a Coconut Rundown Steam Fish in Grace Coconut sauce.
"I'm very upbeat about taking Little Ochie from the South Coast to Richmond Estate, and to celebrate their 20th anniversary with them," said Christian.
Otherwise, Christian said Little Ochie will be opening the season of Lent with a party on Ash Wednesday (February 13), when persons can enjoy the traditional seafood for the season. For the rest of the year, they'll host Lover's Affair on Valentine's Day, Little Ochie Seafood Festival, and the Mother's Day treat.
