Negative effects of the weed
published: Tuesday | January 15, 2008

THE EDITOR, Sir:

How come no one has really done a critical study of the effect of ganja on men, women, children and the unborn? From my observation men and boys who use ganja are very abusive, especially to women (who are normally weaker than they). The ganja users are normally lazy, disrespectful, use expletives excessively and everything they want, they must get it now.

Women and girls who use ganja are normally vulgar, shameless, aggressive and are not ashamed to tell anyone about their unbecoming behaviour. These women will care for their children but are quick to abuse them as if their visions have become impaired.

The unborn seem to suffer, especially when both parents use ganja. From what I observe, their children are either listless or hyperactive. These traits are seen in the classroom. Since the wide use of ganja, there have been so many slow learners, especially among boys since most of them pattern their fathers (by using ganja).

Some people who use ganja are very energetic right after use but after a few hours they will have to smoke again to re-energise.

I am so concerned, as our men and boys seem to be destroying themselves. There are so many slow learners among the boys. It is pathetic. Girls are slow learners as well but not half as many.

The danger to the country though, if boys won't learn, there are girls to match them and for this, crime will be constantly on the rise.

Soon, there will be very few to see that in the near future, we will be a nation that is slowly destroying itself. Think on these things.

I am, etc.,
